The AVBOB Learnership Programme runs for 9 to 12 months and leads to a National Qualification Framework (NQF) Level 4 qualification with 140 credits. The learnership combines both theoretical training through an accredited training provider and practical work experience in the workplace.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the AVBOB Insurance Learnership Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
  • Must have a valid Matric (Grade 12) certificate
  • Must have completed English, Mathematics / Maths Literacy or Accounting as Matric subjects
  • Must not have previously participated in any learnership programme
  • Must not currently be registered with another academic institution
  • Must have a reliable mode of transportation
  • Must be willing to work at AVBOB offices in the North Region
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must have the ability to work independently and take initiative
